The “Daily” Great Commission

How often do we as Jesus’ disciples wake up each morning planning to share the gospel with someone? The answer to this question may show why we are not fulfilling the Great Commission like we should. Whenever we do not plan to do evangelism, we do not do it!
The work of sharing the gospel should be a priority in the Christian’s life. Is this true in your life? If you were to take the time and think about how you use your time each day, how many minutes would be used serving the lost?
Let’s think for a moment about what Jesus tells us to do.
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation” (Mark 16:15 NASB).
This verse tells us that we need to share the gospel with everyone. It shows us that we have work to do. But why is it when we leave the house in the morning for work, school, and recreational activities that we forget that nearly everyone we see needs the Lord? Evangelism should be our main work! As we leave for work, are we thinking about how we can share the gospel with someone there? When we go to school, are we praying about opportunities that we will have to talk about Christ? Every part of our daily lives should be done with evangelism on our minds.Is this the case for you?
